The Artisanal Fishing Tour Atitlan in a wooden Cayuco starts with being transported to the community of San Juan la Laguna.
Once in the town, a traditional fisherman will take you to experience and learn the art of fishing in the waters of Lake Atitlan as ancient Mayas did, in-cayak-traditional canoes, made of wood and where with the help of small hook and cast nets you can enjoy the ancestral practice of fishing for largemouth bass (black bass) and other species.
Also in this experience you will know closely the areas of refuge of endemic species of Lake Atitlan, such as the Pato Poc Duck
